- Winter (November to February): Ideal for wildlife sightings, as animals come out to bask in the sun.
- Summer (March to June): Another good time for spotting animals, especially around water sources.
- Monsoon (July to September): Limited access, but the park's lush greenery can be stunning. However, animal sightings are less frequent.
It’s always a good idea to check for any updates or changes in the schedule before planning your visit.
Opening and Closing Times by Zone:

Dhikala Zone:
- Open: Mid-November to mid-June.
- Closed: Mid-June to mid-November due to monsoon rains and road conditions.

Bijrani Zone:
- Open: Mid-October to mid-June.
- Closed: Mid-June to mid-October for the monsoon season.

Jhirna Zone:
- Open: Year-round.
- Note: This is the only zone in the park that remains open throughout the year, including during the monsoon.

Dhela Zone:
- Open: Year-round.
- Note: Like Jhirna, this zone is also accessible year-round.

Durga Devi Zone:
- Open: Mid-November to mid-June.
- Closed: Mid-June to mid-November due to the monsoon.

Sitabani Buffer Zone:
- Open: Year-round.
- Note: This is a buffer area and not an official part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, so it remains open all year.
It is very dificult to say in the winter Jimcorbett is going to be very foggy & chilly so I personally advice you for the afternoon safari i winter and morning safari in summer.
There are particularly no best zone in corbett. all zone in corbett is best.
Dhikala zone is best for night stay but little bit costly to stay here and bookig procidure is very tough so those pepole who want to nightstay in the lap of neture but cant go for dhikala stay in bijrani is a god option for them.
The pepole of Corbett says Dhikala The heart of Corbett (corbett ka dill). it is famous for its Landscpe,Grassland,Dense Sal forests and the majestic Ramganga river.
