Our Story
From Kolkata, for travelers who love the wild.
JungleNearMe was built by a small team of Corbett regulars who got tired of inflated tour prices and impersonal jeep caravans. We put the train fare inside every package, keep groups at six travelers, and speak your family's language — Bengali, Hindi, or English.

The beginning
It started with one missed tiger sighting.
On his first Corbett trip, our founder paid nearly triple for a package that delivered half the promise — no Bengali-speaking guide, a bloated 20-person jeep caravan, and a lodge 40 km from the zone gate. He came home to Howrah with a simple thought: Bengali families deserve Corbett done honestly.
So we built the train-fare-inside rule first. Your Howrah–Ramnagar tickets are confirmed in our name, handed to you ready-to-board — no "quote low, collect later" game, no last-minute tatkal panic two months before departure.
Eight years on, we have guided 150+ Bengali and Hindi-speaking families through the park — grandparents, toddlers, honeymooners, solo photographers — every trip capped at six travelers so the jeep, the lodge corridor, and the campfire stay yours.
